merry whatever-you-celebrate-or-enjoy-at-this-time-of-year.
did dinner and what not over at t.'s family's place. we brought a couple of vegan apple pies and a dozen or so home made roles of sushi (plus half a dozen or so nigiri) .. the food was great and the conversation stimulating. huzzah for that.
today is christmas with p.'s mom's family. gift exchange, etc. i'm svn up'ing before leaving the house ;)
i didn't manage to get an opportunity to blog on friday about dev wiki day, so i'll do so quickly here before i jump in the shower and then go over the p.'s aunt's house:
it was a terrific success. probably somewhere around 100 edits and several new tutorials, including one on writing indexers for strigi, a dbus tutorial (i need to figure out how to upload non-image files so i put the example .service file online), one on qt4 designer and one on using solid. links to a few older tutorials from around the 'net that need to be ported to qt4/kde4 and put on the wiki were also added, including a few from the kde edu team. at this rate we can make the 100 tutorials mark by summer.
please join us this friday for developer wiki day. we still have lots of content to move over and tons of content to author. personally, i'll be continuing to work on the dbus tutorials and porting the i18n tutorial. what are you working on that hasn't been documented properly and is therefore keeping people from contributing to your kde project?

Aaron,
Merry Christmas (or whatever you celebrate)! Good luck with KDE4, and we'll see when it comes out ;).
