In about a week or so, the wraps come off of 4.2.0. That means you have about a week to either make plans to attend one of the 12 KDE 4.2 release parties that are already planned or plan one of your own.
The parties range from as simple as meeting with other KDE enthusiasts in a pub to celebrate with pints of wonder to as orchestrated as the one I'll be at in Zurich which includes food and presentations by both myself and Georg Greve of the FSFE. Regardless of the sophistication involved, each party will be a blast, I'm sure.
We already have parties happening on five continents, but there's a lot of geography still left un-partied. You can fix that by getting something going in your area. If you do, please add them to the wiki page so others can find them too!

Well, I'll be glad to organize one in Qatar, but hmmm... anyways, places to party here do not exactly count as millions, if there's another KDEr here, there's a chance we bump into each other anyways.
Yeah, even with booze :D
Well I just added the Italians one. Hope to have success.
